By accessing or using ScholarScore, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and subscribers who access ScholarScore.

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScholarScore. If you are under the age of 18, you should use the platform only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using ScholarScore, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to accept these Terms.

ScholarScore provides educational feedback intended to help users evaluate and strengthen scholarship essays. Feedback may include observations about clarity, organization, authenticity, story impact, and scholarship readiness.

ScholarScore is a writing-support tool. It does not write scholarship essays for users, guarantee scholarship awards, or replace the judgment of scholarship committees, educators, counselors, or other qualified professionals.

ScholarScore uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized feedback. AI-generated feedback may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular scholarship application.

You are responsible for reviewing all feedback and deciding whether to use it. You should verify scholarship requirements, deadlines, eligibility rules, and submission instructions directly with the organization offering the scholarship.

ScholarScore does not guarantee that using its feedback will result in a scholarship, admission decision, financial award, or any other specific outcome.

You retain ownership of the essays, ideas, experiences, and other original content you submit to ScholarScore. We do not claim authorship or ownership of your work.

By submitting an essay, you give ScholarScore permission to process that essay only as necessary to provide the requested review, operate the platform, protect against misuse, and improve service reliability.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that doing so does not violate another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.

Certain ScholarScore features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

Accounts may not be sold, transferred, shared for unauthorized access, or used to avoid plan limits.

ScholarScore may offer both free and paid features. The features, limits, and prices associated with each plan are displayed on the platform and may change over time.

Free reviews may be limited by user, account, email address, device, or other reasonable methods intended to prevent abuse. Attempting to create multiple accounts to avoid these limits is prohibited.

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis at the price shown when you subscribe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize ScholarScore and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period until the subscription is canceled.

Promotional pricing, including introductory discounts, applies only for the period described at checkout. After the promotional period ends, the subscription renews at the regular price displayed when you enrolled unless you cancel before the next billing date.

You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for any taxes or charges that apply to your purchase.

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through the account or billing-management options made available by ScholarScore. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges.

Unless stated otherwise during cancellation, you may continue using Premium features until the end of your current paid billing period.

Payments already processed are generally nonrefundable except where required by law or where ScholarScore determines that a refund is appropriate based on the circumstances.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support@scholarscore.net so the issue can be reviewed.

You agree not to use ScholarScore to:

• Submit content that you do not own or have permission to use.
• Plagiarize, misrepresent authorship, or falsely present another person's experiences as your own.
• Attempt to bypass free-review limits, subscription restrictions, security controls, or account protections.
• Interfere with the platform, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit ScholarScore without written authorization.

ScholarScore is designed to support ethical writing development. You remain responsible for ensuring that every essay you submit to a scholarship organization accurately reflects your own experiences, ideas, and voice.

You should follow the rules established by the scholarship provider, school, educator, or other organization reviewing your work, including any rules concerning artificial intelligence or outside assistance.

We work to keep ScholarScore available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, security concerns, or events outside our control.

We may add, remove, suspend, or change features when necessary to improve the service, address security or legal concerns, or support the continued operation of ScholarScore.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to ScholarScore when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, misused the service, created security risks, failed to pay applicable charges, or engaged in unlawful or harmful conduct.

You may stop using ScholarScore at any time. Ending your account does not automatically reverse charges that were validly processed before cancellation.

ScholarScore is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not make warranties that the service will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

Essay feedback is educational and informational in nature. It should not be treated as legal, financial, admissions, or professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ScholarScore and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—the platform.

This includes scholarship decisions, missed opportunities, application results, data loss, or actions taken based on AI-generated feedback.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

ScholarScore uses third-party providers for services such as authentication, hosting, payment processing, analytics, and artificial intelligence.

Your use of certain features may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers. ScholarScore is not responsible for third-party websites or services that it does not control.

We may update these Terms as ScholarScore evolves. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

Your continued use of ScholarScore after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
