The Zell Miller Grant provides full standard tuition assistance to eligible Georgia residents pursuing approved certificate or diploma programs at participating Georgia colleges. Students must maintain a strong postsecondary academic record to remain eligible.

Eligibility

  • Meet United States citizenship or eligible noncitizen requirements.
  • Meet the applicable Georgia residency requirements.
  • Be enrolled in an eligible certificate or diploma program at a participating Georgia institution.
  • Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative postsecondary GPA at the end of each term.
  • Meet the institution's satisfactory academic progress requirements.
  • Be in good standing on applicable federal and Georgia student loans, grants, and scholarships.
  • Not have exceeded the maximum program award-hour limits.

Requirements

  • Complete either the FAFSA or the Georgia Student Finance Application.
  • Submit any residency, citizenship, enrollment, or academic documentation requested by the institution or GSFC.
  • Maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative postsecondary GPA for continued eligibility.
