Eligibility

  • Enroll during the upcoming academic year as a first- or second-year undergraduate student.
  • Attend a public junior college, college, university, vocational school, or technical school in Idaho or Nevada.
  • Demonstrate volunteer involvement in at least one activity benefiting the community.
  • Demonstrate a meaningful commitment to community service.
  • Meet all additional Idaho Community Foundation requirements for the current cycle.

Requirements

  • Complete the official scholarship application.
  • Submit the most recent unofficial high school or college transcript.
  • Submit a written statement between one and three pages.
  • Describe educational and career goals.
  • Describe extracurricular activities, volunteer service, awards, honors, and leadership positions.
  • Describe work experience and whether the applicant plans to work while attending school.
  • Explain why the applicant should be selected for the scholarship.
  • Submit the first page of the FAFSA Student Aid Report showing the Student Aid Index.
  • Combine the application and every supporting document into one PDF attachment.
