Eligibility

  • Live in or attend high school in Southeast Minnesota.
  • Enroll in an agriculture-related field of study.
  • Attend an accredited two-year or four-year postsecondary institution.
  • Demonstrate satisfactory progress toward a degree or certificate to receive scholarship funds.

Requirements

  • Complete the Promoting Modern Agriculture Undergraduate Scholarship application.
  • Provide current GPA and planned postsecondary school and field of study.
  • Identify two teachers who may serve as references.
  • Provide information about 4-H and/or FFA participation.
  • List agricultural education courses completed during high school.
  • Provide information about honors, recognition, school activities, community activities, and leadership roles.
  • Respond to questions about educational and career goals.
  • Explain why you should receive the scholarship.
  • Recipients must submit a first-semester transcript showing satisfactory progress before scholarship funds are released.
