The White River Valley Electric Cooperative Operation Round Up Scholarship provides financial assistance to local undergraduate students pursuing higher education or vocational training. Students may qualify by either residing within WRVEC's five-county Southwest Missouri service territory or attending a high school located within that territory. Recipients may reapply in future years and can receive the scholarship up to four times.

Eligibility

  • Either reside within White River Valley Electric Cooperative's five-county service territory or attend a high school located within the service territory.
  • WRVEC's service territory includes portions of Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, and Taney counties in Southwest Missouri.
  • Pursue higher education or vocational training.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to making an impact in the local community through service.
  • Demonstrate academic excellence.
  • Previous recipients may reapply, but receiving another scholarship is not guaranteed.
  • A student may receive the scholarship up to four times.

Requirements

  • Complete the White River Valley Electric Cooperative Operation Round Up scholarship application.
  • Provide the academic and education information required by the current application.
  • Provide information demonstrating community service and local community impact.
  • Submit all supporting materials required for the applicable scholarship cycle.

How to Apply

  2. 2Complete the annual Operation Round Up scholarship application during the February application window.
  3. 3Provide the required academic and community-service information.
