Eligibility

  • Be a declared American Indian Studies or Tribal Administration and Governance major, or be enrolled in the Master of Tribal Administration and Governance or Master of Tribal Resource and Environmental Stewardship program at UMD.
  • Meet at least one of UMD's qualifying Native identity or Tribal relationship criteria.
  • Qualifying applicants may be enrolled members, eligible for Tribal enrollment, recognized descendants of federally recognized Tribes, or otherwise meet specified American Indian or Canadian First Nations definitions.

Requirements

  • Complete the current Wells Fargo American Indian Studies Scholarship application.
  • Submit all required documents by May 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m.
