The Warren Christopher Scholarship supports outstanding Los Angeles Unified School District high school sophomores whose education may be threatened by financial hardship or other circumstances beyond their control. Scholars also receive mentoring, educational support, career guidance, and access to enrichment opportunities.

Eligibility
- Be a current high school sophomore enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
- Be selected as the sole nominee from the student's LAUSD high school.
- Demonstrate strong academic potential and commitment to completing high school and college.
- Demonstrate financial need or circumstances that could place the student's education at risk.
- Show leadership, community involvement, resilience, or a commitment to public service.
Requirements
- Receive a nomination from an authorized counselor or designated staff member at an LAUSD high school.
- Complete the invitation-only scholarship application.
- Submit the required personal narrative or essay responses.
- Provide academic, honors, activities, and supporting information.
- Submit all required attachments by the application deadline.
