Vinick Memorial Scholarship

The Vinick Memorial Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who reside in East Longmeadow and will enter their freshman year as full-time students at accredited institutions of higher learning. Preference is given to students who have volunteered or worked at the East Longmeadow Public Library or participated in library programs.

Eligibility

  • Be a resident of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
  • Be a graduating high school senior.
  • Enter freshman year as a full-time student at an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Preference is given to students who have volunteered or worked at the East Longmeadow Public Library or participated in library programs.
  • Family members of individuals serving on the Scholarship Committee are not eligible.

Requirements

  • Complete the Vinick Memorial Scholarship application.
  • Submit a high school transcript.
  • Provide details of work and involvement in school and the community.
  • Submit at least two reference letters from people who are not relatives.
  • Include any additional supporting information that may strengthen the application.
