  • Meet the eligibility requirements established for individual scholarship opportunities.
  • Complete the Golden Opportunities general scholarship application for the applicable academic year.

  • Complete the Golden Opportunities general scholarship application.
  • Review scholarship opportunities recommended through the GO System.
  • Complete additional questions or materials required for individual recommended opportunities.
  • Provide references or recommendation letters when required by an individual scholarship.
  • Provide any additional documentation requested for individual scholarship opportunities.

How to Apply

  2. 2Sign in using your Southern Miss Campus ID and SOAR password.
  3. 3Complete and submit the general scholarship application for the applicable academic year.
  4. 4Review scholarships automatically matched to your Applicant Record and general application.
  5. 5Check the Recommended Opportunities section for scholarships requiring additional information.
  6. 6Complete any additional questions, essays, references, or documentation required for recommended scholarships.
  7. 7Monitor your Southern Miss email and GO System account for scholarship offers.
  8. 8If selected, accept the scholarship and complete the required post-acceptance process.
