Eligibility

  • Be the spouse, registered domestic partner, or qualifying financially dependent child of a current UNLV classified employee.
  • Be admitted to UNLV as an undergraduate student.
  • Take eligible state-supported undergraduate courses at UNLV.
  • If applying as a dependent child, be financially dependent, claimed for federal tax purposes, and under age 24.
  • Maintain UNLV Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress, including at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and completion of at least 70% of attempted credits.

Requirements

  • Submit an application for each applicable academic term.
  • Provide dependency or registered domestic partnership verification when requested.
  • Remain eligible for undergraduate admission and financial-aid satisfactory academic progress.
  • Use the award only for eligible UNLV undergraduate coursework.
