Eligibility

  • Attend the University of Minnesota Morris.
  • Meet the University's definition of American Indian for purposes of the tuition waiver.
  • Qualifying students may be enrolled members of federally recognized American Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Villages, or Canadian First Nations.
  • Qualifying direct descendants of enrolled members may also establish eligibility with appropriate Tribal and family documentation.

Requirements

  • Complete the American Indian Tuition Waiver Application.
  • Provide qualifying Tribal affiliation or descendancy documentation.
  • Provide birth certificates linking the student to an enrolled ancestor when required.
  • Provide additional validation if requested by the University.
