Eligibility

  • Arkansas-resident high-school graduate or GED recipient entering UCA as a first-time undergraduate; Pell eligible OR household annual income no more than $100,000.
  • Complete FAFSA to UCA, provide proof of an Arkansas Academic Challenge application and submit the Commitment application and test records.

Requirements

  • Housing and meal plans are excluded. Follow current program enrollment, service and annual financial/academic eligibility rules.
  • Pell eligibility and the $100,000 income route are alternatives, not a requirement to meet both.

How to Apply

  1. 1Apply to UCA and the Commitment program; Fall 2027 application opened October 1, 2026.
  2. 2Submit the application and all documents by May 3, 2027; February 1 is FAFSA priority rather than the final Commitment cutoff.
