The TRUE Community Partnership in Education Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors and nontraditional students with educational expenses. Awards are determined through an anonymous judging process in which the applicant's essay is the primary selection factor.

Eligibility

  • Be an eligible graduating high school senior or nontraditional student under the current TRUE Community Credit Union scholarship rules.
  • Complete only one scholarship application per annual cycle.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements published for the applicable scholarship year.

Requirements

  • Complete the TRUE Community scholarship application.
  • Submit an original essay responding to the annual scholarship topic.
  • Remove identifying information from the essay and submission materials as required.
  • Do not use AI programs to complete the scholarship essay.

How to Apply

  2. 2Complete the scholarship application.
  3. 3Write the required essay personally.
  4. 4Remove names, school names, and other identifying marks from materials subject to blind judging.
  5. 5Proofread for organization, originality, clarity, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, comprehension, and expression of the topic.
