Eligibility

  • Be a woman who is a union member in good standing.
  • Belong to a local union affiliated with the Minnesota AFL-CIO.
  • Have held membership in the qualifying local union for at least one year before the application date.
  • Plan to attend an eligible class, program, or conference sponsored or endorsed by the AFL-CIO or an affiliated organization.

Requirements

  • Complete the Minnesota AFL-CIO Labor Leadership Grant application.
  • Describe the class, program, or conference.
  • Provide program dates and sponsorship information.
  • Provide program cost and requested grant amount.
  • Have a local union officer certify membership and eligibility.

How to Apply

  2. 2Complete the Labor Leadership Grant application.
  3. 3Select the Tobey Lapakko Labor Leadership Grant.
