The SWE-Detroit College Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to Michigan women and other underrepresented genders pursuing careers in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science. Eligible applicants include high school seniors entering qualifying bachelor's degree programs and current community college students preparing to transfer into four-year engineering programs.

Eligibility

  • Be located in the State of Michigan.
  • Be a high school senior or current community college student.
  • Be a woman or another underrepresented gender in engineering and technology.
  • Pursue an engineering degree at a university or college with an ABET-accredited engineering or computer science program, or attend community college with the intention of transferring to a four-year engineering degree program.
  • Submit all documents required by the annual SWE-Detroit scholarship application.
