Sun River Electric Continuing Education Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be currently enrolled in college or trade school.
• Have a college GPA of at least 2.5.
• The applicant or applicant's parent or guardian must be a member of Sun River Electric Cooperative.
• Attend a university, college, community college, or college of technology in Montana or another state.
• Have received a Sun River Electric Cooperative scholarship upon graduating from high school.
• Continuing education funding is limited to three years.

Requirements

• Complete the Sun River Electric Continuing Education Scholarship application.
• Submit the most recent college transcript.
• Submit a personal statement addressing future goals, employment, and financial need.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that you previously received an SREC scholarship upon graduating from high school.
2. 2Confirm your current SREC membership connection.
3. 3Complete the continuing education scholarship application.
4. 4Attach your most recent college transcript.
5. 5Write the required personal statement about your future goals, employment, and need.
6. 6Submit the complete application by February 27.
