Eligibility

  • Be a resident of St. Martin Parish or attend a public or private school in St. Martin Parish.
  • Plan to pursue education at an established and accredited university, college, community college, or trade school.
  • Be recommended by a public or private secondary school teacher in St. Martin Parish, a St. Martin Land Company Board member, or a Home Bank designee.
  • Previous recipients may reapply during their second, third, or fourth years of postsecondary education.

Requirements

  • Complete the St. Martin Land Company Scholarship application through the Community Foundation of Acadiana Scholarship Portal.
  • Submit a statement describing your personal goals and explaining how your intended education will help you achieve those goals.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement, character, community service, and leadership.
  • Participate in an interview if requested by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
