Eligibility

  • Be a Missouri high school senior.
  • Plan to enroll in an accredited college or university.
  • Pursue engineering, public administration, or another major leading to a career in public works.
  • Be a United States citizen or legal immigrant with appropriate valid documentation at the time of application.
  • Have permanent residence within the geographic boundary of the APWA Missouri Chapter.
  • Have not previously received the same APWA Missouri Chapter or Branch scholarship.

Requirements

  • Complete the Ken Yost Memorial Scholarship application.
  • Submit one letter of reference from an active Missouri APWA Chapter member or a non-family personal mentor.
  • Up to one additional reference letter may be submitted.
  • Submit an official copy of the applicant's current high school transcript.

How to Apply

  3. 3Obtain an official high school transcript.
  4. 4Submit the application and reference materials as directed by APWA by April 1.
