The Spirit of Giving Scholarship supports Haitian American graduating students in Connecticut who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their community. Awards may be used at accredited colleges, universities, and vocational or technical institutions.

Eligibility
- Be a Haitian American student living in Connecticut.
- Be Haitian-born or have at least one Haitian parent.
- Be graduating from high school or completing an equivalent credential.
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
- Be enrolled or scheduled to enroll in an approved two-year college, four-year college, university, vocational school, or technical institution.
- Reside in Greater Fairfield County or a surrounding Connecticut community served by the program.
Requirements
- Complete the Spirit of Giving Scholarship application.
- Respond to one of the published essay topics.
- Submit an original essay between 500 and 750 words.
- Provide the academic and enrollment information requested in the application.
