Southwest Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior from Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Polk, Stone, Taney, Vernon, Webster, or Wright County, Missouri, or be an eligible undergraduate student.
• Undergraduate applicants must be a paid member of the Southwest Missouri Cattlemen’s Association or the child of a paid member.
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Major in agriculture.
• Plan to attend a two-year or four-year accredited college, university, or vocational school.
• Demonstrate participation in community service, school activities, or work experience.
• Describe involvement in Southwest Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, Cattlemen’s Beef Association, or related activities and events.

Requirements

• Complete the scholarship application through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
• Submit an academic transcript.
• Submit the required essay.
• Submit a letter of recommendation.
• Provide information about community service, school activities, and work experience.
• Describe involvement in cattlemen’s association activities and events.
