The SMCAC Merit Scholarship Program supports Black graduating high school seniors from designated MetroWest Massachusetts communities and Worcester who demonstrate academic achievement and community service and plan to enroll at an accredited institution of higher education.

Eligibility

  • Be a Black or African-American high school senior graduating in 2026.
  • Have at least a 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Plan to enroll at an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Live or attend school in Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Natick, Sherborn, Sudbury, Wayland, or Worcester, Massachusetts.
