Sealaska Scholarship Program

Eligibility

• Meet the program's definition of Alaska Native under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act.
• Be enrolled to Sealaska Corporation or be a Native lineal descendant of an Alaska Native enrolled to Sealaska Corporation.
• Be accepted and enrolled in an accredited postsecondary educational institution or vocational-training program.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate study or 3.0 for graduate study.
• Meet all additional requirements published for the applicable application cycle.

Requirements

• Create and use an individual MySealaska account.
• Complete the official Sealaska Scholarship application.
• Provide academic and enrollment information.
• Submit a transcript or other academic documentation requested through the application portal.
• Complete any required essay or written responses.
• Provide a reference or recommendation when required.

How to Apply

2. 2Confirm shareholder or descendant eligibility.
3. 3Open the Sealaska Scholarship application during the spring or fall application period.
4. 4Complete the academic, enrollment, and program-information sections.
5. 5Upload all required supporting documents.
6. 6Submit the completed application before the applicable deadline.
