Eligibility

  • Meet the eligibility requirements for at least one scholarship administered by the Saginaw Community Foundation.
  • Eligibility varies by scholarship and may include requirements related to residence, school attendance, graduation status, field of study, career goals, GPA, financial need, community involvement, extracurricular activities, memberships, employment, or other donor-established criteria.
  • High school seniors, undergraduate students, graduate students, nontraditional students, and Career and Technical Education students may qualify for different scholarship opportunities.
  • Immediate family members of Saginaw Community Foundation staff are not eligible for Foundation scholarships.
  • Immediate family members of a donor or fund representative are not eligible for that specific scholarship fund but may still qualify for other Foundation scholarships.

  • Complete the Saginaw Community Foundation online scholarship application.
  • Provide the full name and email address of an unrelated reference.
  • Submit the applicant's most recent school transcript.
  • Complete the required scholarship essay questionnaire.
  • Complete financial information when applying for scholarships that consider financial need.
  • Provide any special attachments, membership verification, or other documentation required by individual scholarship funds.
  • Complete all required application questions before submitting.
