The Rudolph Heino People Helping People Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to service, leadership, and the credit union philosophy of people helping people. Recipients are selected based on community involvement, school activities, academic achievement, an essay, and a teacher recommendation.

Eligibility
- Be a graduating high school senior in the Class of 2026 for the currently published cycle.
- Be within the MSGCU field of membership.
- Attend a high school or technical campus in a community served by MSGCU.
- Provide proof of acceptance to an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
- Non-members may apply but must become MSGCU members if selected.
- MSGCU member accounts must be in good standing.
- Have not previously received an MSGCU scholarship.
- Employees and officials of MSGCU, their immediate families, and persons living in their households are not eligible.
Requirements
- Complete the MSGCU scholarship application.
- Submit proof of college or university acceptance.
- Submit a resume outlining community service, school activities, and academic achievements.
- Submit an original 250-500 word essay explaining how the applicant exemplifies the people helping people philosophy.
- Submit a high school transcript.
- Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher.
