Eligibility

  • Be enrolled in the mechanical engineering program at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
  • Have successfully completed at least 48 semester hours.
  • Maintain full-time enrollment of at least 12 credits each semester the scholarship is awarded.
  • Preference is given to applicants with at least a 2.9 cumulative GPA.
  • Preference is given to students who graduated from a high school within 50 miles of Rochester, Minnesota.
  • Demonstrate interest in HVAC and plans to work in the field.
  • Participation in engineering student organizations is preferred.

Requirements

  • Complete the scholarship application.
  • Provide academic and mechanical-engineering program information.
  • Complete the required essay describing HVAC career interest.
  • Provide financial-aid information when requested.
