Robert Holmes Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be entering the first year of college in the fall.
• Be the legal dependent of a member of a Michigan local of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
• The qualifying Teamsters member must be active or have been placed on a seniority list by the applicable program date.
• Plan to attend an eligible accredited postsecondary certificate or degree program.
• Demonstrate strong high school academic performance or significant academic improvement.
• Demonstrate leadership through school, extracurricular, or community activities.

Requirements

• Complete the CFSEM common scholarship application.
• Submit a current academic transcript.
• Submit two recommendation letters.
• Complete the required scholarship essays.
• Provide documentation establishing the qualifying Michigan Teamsters relationship when requested.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm the parent or guardian's qualifying Michigan Teamsters membership.
2. 2Complete the CFSEM common scholarship application.
3. 3Upload the required transcript.
4. 4Request two recommendation letters.
5. 5Complete the required essays and activity sections.
6. 6Provide Teamsters membership or relationship documentation when requested.
7. 7Submit the application by the annual CFSEM deadline.
