Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a Maine resident.
• Be entering the first year of postsecondary education.
• Plan to enroll in a two-year or four-year degree-granting accredited college or university.
• Demonstrate a strong desire to complete the degree program.
• Demonstrate financial need.

Requirements

• Complete the online scholarship application.
• Submit an academic transcript demonstrating academic achievement.
• Provide two letters of recommendation.
• Submit a personal essay of at least 300 words.
• Provide information about contributions to school, community, and/or the work environment.
• Provide information demonstrating financial need.

2. 2Prepare a personal essay of at least 300 words.
