Rice Scholarship Fund

The Rice Scholarship Fund supports students who spent a substantial part of their formative K–8 years on an offshore island of Maine in the area from Seguin to Eastport. Eligible students may attend accredited, degree-granting colleges or vocational training schools. Preference is given to residents of offshore Maine islands, while eligible residents of bridged islands may also apply. Selection is based on financial need and demonstrated commitment to community service.

Eligibility

  • Have graduated from a non-sectarian high school.
