Eligibility

  • Seek to obtain a Commonwealth of Massachusetts drinking water operator license in Distribution or Treatment.
  • Or currently work in the drinking water profession and seek a higher-level Distribution or Treatment operator license.
  • Meet the requirements for the applicable operator training course and Massachusetts drinking water licensing pathway.
  • Applicants who document financial hardship receive preference.

Requirements

  • Complete the Raymond A. Jack Operator Scholarship application.
  • Identify the qualifying drinking water Distribution or Treatment course for which funding is requested.
  • Provide information about the operator license being pursued or advanced.
  • Provide documentation of financial hardship when applicable.
  • Submit the application by August 1 for fall courses or December 1 for spring courses.
