Ranelius Scholarship

The Ranelius Scholarship supports students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in postsecondary education and are preparing for careers connected to the poultry industry. The program encourages students from a variety of educational backgrounds to explore careers within Minnesota's turkey and poultry industries.

Eligibility

  • Be currently enrolled or on track to enroll in a postsecondary educational program.
  • Preference is given to applicants pursuing a career track in the poultry industry.
  • Preference is given based on scholastic record.
  • Preference is given to applicants who have not previously received an MTGA scholarship.

Requirements

  • Complete the Ranelius Scholarship submission form.
  • Provide background and contact information.
  • Provide education history and school-activity information.
  • Submit the required brief essay.
  • Submit one letter of recommendation.
  • Submit a headshot photo.
