Purdy Emerging Leaders Scholarship

The Purdy Emerging Leaders Scholarship supports Missouri undergraduate students who demonstrate leadership, character, academic performance, and financial need. The program is open to traditional college students as well as adult learners pursuing or returning to complete an undergraduate degree.

Eligibility

  • Be a Missouri resident.
  • Be an undergraduate second-, third-, or fourth-year student during the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Enroll full-time and make satisfactory academic progress.
  • Have at least a 2.5 cumulative college GPA.
  • Demonstrate leadership and involvement on a Missouri college campus and/or in the community.
  • Demonstrate financial need, with Student Aid Index and unmet need considered during selection.
  • Traditional and returning adult students may apply.

Requirements

  • Complete the My Scholarship Central General Application.
  • Complete the Purdy Emerging Leaders Scholarship application.
  • Submit a FAFSA Submission Summary.
  • Submit the school's Financial Aid Award Letter or Offer.
  • Submit the most recent college transcript.
  • Provide information about campus and community leadership.
  • Complete the leadership response.
  • Request one recommendation from a qualified reference.
