The Prosperity Planning Scholarship supports graduating seniors from Kansas City Northland school districts who have demonstrated a strong work ethic both inside and outside the classroom. The scholarship is renewable for students who continue to excel academically and personally.

Eligibility

  • Be a graduating senior from Excelsior Springs, Park Hill, Platte County, Smithville, North Kansas City, Kearney, Lawson, Liberty, Lathrop, or West Platte school districts.
  • Maintain a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA through the first seven semesters of high school.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Plan to attend an accredited college or university.

Requirements

  • Complete the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation General Application.
  • Complete the Prosperity Planning supplemental application.
  • Submit the required essay describing work or volunteer experience.
  • Upload an academic transcript.
