The Post-Master School Social Work Professional Educator License Scholarship Program helps licensed social workers obtain an Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Social Work endorsement. Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen, eligible noncitizen, or meet the Illinois RISE Act requirements.
  • Hold a valid Illinois Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker license.
  • Have earned a Master of Social Work degree.
  • Enroll in an approved post-master program leading to an Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Social Work endorsement.
  • Attend a participating Illinois public university.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Requirements

  • Complete the online ISAC application.
  • Sign the Application/Work Agreement/Promissory Note.
  • Meet all institutional and ISAC eligibility requirements.
