2026 ASHRAE Scholarship Cycle

Eligibility

  • Be enrolled full time as an undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering student.
  • Pursue a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study traditionally preparing students for the HVAC&R profession.
  • Be enrolled at a postsecondary institution within the Minnesota Chapter geographic boundaries and/or have graduated from a high school within the chapter area.
  • Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and/or rank within the top 30% of the class.
  • Attend an institution with a recognized ASHRAE student branch or an eligible ABET-accredited program.

Requirements

  • Complete the ASHRAE scholarship application.
  • Submit required academic documentation.
  • Submit three letters of recommendation.
  • Complete the required ASHRAE chapter evaluation process.
  • Provide information regarding leadership, work experience, financial need, and interest in HVAC&R.
