Eligibility

  • Be a current graduating high school senior.
  • Attend an eligible public or private high school or be homeschooled within Ozark Electric Cooperative's service boundary.
  • Have a parent or legal guardian who is an Ozark Electric Cooperative member.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Plan to attend a college or trade school following high school graduation.
  • Immediate family members of Ozark Electric Cooperative employees or board directors are not eligible.

Requirements

  • Complete the Ozark Electric Cooperative scholarship application.
  • Provide all documentation required by the current scholarship application.
  • Submit the student portion of the application to the high school counselor or homeschool instructor by the student deadline.
  • Have the counselor or homeschool instructor complete and submit their required portion to Ozark Electric by the final deadline.

How to Apply

  1. 1Confirm that the applicant attends an eligible school or is homeschooled within Ozark Electric's service boundary.
  2. 2Confirm that the applicant's parent or legal guardian is an Ozark Electric Cooperative member.
  3. 3Complete the annual scholarship application and gather all required documentation.
  4. 4Submit the completed student materials to the high school counselor or homeschool instructor by the student deadline.
  5. 5The counselor or homeschool instructor completes their portion and submits the final application to Ozark Electric by the final deadline.
  6. 6Selected recipients receive scholarship funds during June or July.
