Eligibility

  • Be in the second, third, or fourth year at an accredited U.S. college of optometry in good academic standing and have financial need.
  • Preference goes to applicants aiming to practice in Upstate New York, particularly Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, or Wayne County.

Requirements

  • Apply through the Petry-Lomb Education Committee and follow its current instructions.
  • Semifinalists must travel to Rochester for an interview at their own expense; the committee may request a transcript and additional financial information.
