Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  • Be a graduating public, private, or homeschooled senior in NV Energy's northern Nevada service territory.
  • Have at least a 2.5 unweighted GPA.
  • Plan to pursue a degree, trade, or vocational program at an accredited Nevada institution.
  • Complete at least 20 verified volunteer hours during the previous 12 months.

Requirements

  • Complete the online application.
  • Upload a high school transcript.
  • Provide two recommendation letters: one from a school official and one from the volunteer organization.
  • If claiming employee-dependent consideration, provide the parent or guardian's NV Energy employee ID.
  • Provide enrollment evidence if selected.
