Nursing Education Scholarship (NES)

The Nursing Education Scholarship (NES) provides financial assistance to Illinois students pursuing approved nursing education programs. Awards help cover tuition and fees, and full-time recipients may also receive a living allowance. Recipients agree to work in Illinois after graduation.

Eligibility

  • Be an Illinois resident.
  • Be enrolled or accepted into an approved Illinois nursing program.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Complete the FAFSA or Illinois Alternative Application when applicable.
  • Sign the Employment Agreement/Promissory Note.
