Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be enrolled full time at an accredited college or university in the United States or a U.S. territory.
  • Be a second-year student in a four-year program, a third-year student in a five-year program, or an eligible community college student transferring to a four-year institution.
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Pursue a major related to NOAA's mission, including qualifying STEM, environmental, engineering, physical science, biological science, or social science fields.
