Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
  • Attend an accredited Minority Serving Institution in the United States or a U.S. territory.
  • Be enrolled full time.
  • Be a second-year student in a four-year program, an eligible community college student transferring to a four-year institution, or a third-year student in a five-year program.
  • Major in a field directly related to NOAA's mission.
  • Have and maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA.

Requirements

  • Complete the NOAA undergraduate scholarship application when the program is funded and accepting applications.
  • Provide academic and enrollment information.
  • Submit transcripts.
  • Complete required written responses.
  • Provide all additional materials requested by NOAA.
