Eligibility

  • Be a new incoming degree-seeking student on an F-1 visa with an I-20 for NMSU.
  • Meet the program's GPA and English proficiency or test score criteria; transfer students have separate criteria.
  • NMSU system community college admits are ineligible; certain NM high school graduates and graduate assistantship holders already have an in-state rate.

Requirements

  • Apply through NMSU International Student and Scholar Services after the Spring 2027 application opens.
  • Provide documents required for the I-20 and enroll full-time if selected.
