Eligibility

  • Be a legal U.S. resident and permanent New Jersey resident.
  • Be a current New Jersey League for Nursing member.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and meet the program-progress requirement for the applicable degree level.
  • Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Not have received an NJLN scholarship within the past three years for the same degree.

Requirements

  • Complete the NJLN scholarship application.
  • Provide current transcripts and one character reference from a current or former nursing instructor.
  • Submit an essay explaining how you plan to advance the health of the patients, families, or communities you will serve.
  • Be available for the awards event if selected.
