Eligibility

  • Be a Nevada resident for at least one year before applying and maintain Nevada residency while enrolled.
  • Be accepted into an eligible professional program: qualifying RN study, MSN Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or Master of Social Work leading toward eligible Nevada licensure.
  • Plan to live and work in Nevada after graduation and licensure.
  • Agree to complete full-time employment in a Nevada health-profession shortage area or medically underserved area.

Requirements

  • Complete the Nevada WICHE HPEP application.
  • Provide enrollment, residency, and contact documentation as required.
  • Complete a Practice Questionnaire every six months while participating.
  • After graduation, provide professional-license and Nevada employment verification.
  • Complete one year of qualifying full-time Nevada service for each funding disbursement.
