Eligibility

  • Be a Nevada resident under NSHE residency rules.
  • Graduate from an eligible Nevada or qualifying border-county high school, or complete an eligible high school equivalency pathway by the program deadline.
  • Not have earned an associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Enroll in at least 12 applicable credits in an eligible degree or certificate program beginning the fall after graduation.
  • Complete every campus-specific Nevada Promise requirement and deadline.

Requirements

  • Submit the initial Nevada Promise application by October 31, 2026.
  • Apply for admission to a participating Nevada community college.
  • Complete required training, mentoring, financial-aid, advising, enrollment, and community-service steps by the campus deadlines.
  • Submit the 2027–28 FAFSA or applicable non-filer declaration.
