Requirements

  • Discuss personal background, school activities, goals, how the applicant began sewing, preferred types of sewing, and why sewing is important.
  • Submit a three-page portfolio containing photographs of at least five items personally sewn by the applicant.
  • Submit a high school or college transcript.
  • Submit two letters of reference.
  • Submit one recommendation from a Nebraska Independent Fabric Shops member shop.
