Eligibility

  • Be a Nebraska FFA member.
  • Be in grades 7–11 for the 2026–27 school year.
  • Have an entrepreneurship Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) or create a new entrepreneurship SAE concept to start with grant funding.
  • Have a clearly defined need for funding to start or expand the SAE.
  • Have not previously received a Nebraska FFA Foundation SAE Grant.

Requirements

  • Launch the SAE Grant application through AET.
  • Maintain a complete and updated AET profile and resume.
  • Have at least one entrepreneurship SAE listed in the AET Experience Manager.
  • Complete an SAE plan for the project.
  • Prepare an accurate budget estimate for the SAE.
  • Have at least one journal entry associated with the SAE.
  • Have the completed application submitted by the student's agriculture teacher through AET.
  • If selected, complete required grant documentation and attend the required Zoom entrepreneurship meeting.

How to Apply

  1. 1Create or update the entrepreneurship SAE in AET.
  2. 2Complete and update the AET profile and resume.
  3. 3Complete the SAE plan, project budget, and required journal entry.
  4. 4Launch and complete either the New SAE Project or Expanding SAE Project grant application in AET.
  5. 5Have the agriculture teacher submit the completed application to the Nebraska FFA Foundation through the AET submission list.
  6. 6Submit by September 15, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
  7. 7If selected, complete required documentation, including the W-2 form, by December 1, 2026 and attend one required Zoom entrepreneurship meeting.
