NDSCS Science of Success STEM Scholarship

Eligibility

• U.S. citizen, national, refugee alien or permanent resident; enrolled in an approved NDSCS STEM program for at least six credits per awarded semester.
• Demonstrate FAFSA-defined financial need. Normally GPA 3.0; committee may consider GPA 2.5–3.0 with documented academic promise.

Requirements

• September 2, 2026 was the 2026–27 highest-priority date. The official page still invites applications; confirm late funding and award term. No 2027–28 intake date is announced.
• The current 2026–27 form requires two teacher/work-professional references (not friends/relatives), an activities list and three essay responses on field interest, career goals and scholarship impact. The form states 300–500 words; confirm whether that limit applies to each response.
• Continue in an eligible program with satisfactory progress; maintain GPA 2.50 in Technologies/Services or 3.00 in Liberal Arts. Participate in mentoring, career activities, clubs and required surveys.
• Transfer support is restricted to graduating Science of Success scholars accepted into and entering a STEM field at a four-year institution; confirm its selection instructions.
