Eligibility

  • Graduating senior of Eastern Randolph High School in Randolph County or East Rutherford High School in Rutherford County.
  • UNC Chapel Hill attendance is preferred, not an exclusive college requirement.
  • Selection considers financial need, character, GPA and standardized tests, community service, work and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Complete the online application, personal/college statements and activity information.
  • Provide a transcript, SAT OR ACT scores as requested by the current packet, and two recommendation letters; financial information is required for need consideration.
  • Submit an additional 150-word essay on what it means to you to be an American.
