Eligibility

  • Be the child of an active Wake Electric member, under an active member's legal guardianship, OR living in a Wake Electric-served home.
  • Graduating high school senior; students already attending college are ineligible.
  • Pursue a four-year undergraduate bachelor's degree at an accredited North Carolina institution.

Requirements

  • Typed application including financial information, transcript, typed two-page double-spaced career-goals essay and three recommendations.
