Eligibility

  • High school senior whose parent or legal guardian is a Roanoke member-owner, accepted at an accredited two- or four-year North Carolina college/university.
  • Selection weights financial need 50%, academics 25%, activities/cooperative question 25%; strong scholarship and leadership considered.
  • Recipient must relinquish this award if other aid provides a full scholarship; unused funds returned after withdrawal.

Requirements

  • Complete financial/academic/activities application, provide transcript and answer a 200–300-word question about cooperatives versus other businesses.
